Some thoughts I had about this movie
This movie was pretty good, I enjoyed it quite a lot but it was almost comedic to me how insanely horny it was. It really leans into that specific theme from the novel, of women having these sexual desires and things that are not being met by their husbands or the men in their lives because the men see these desires and view them as some kind of evil. Dracula acts as an answer to this to Mina, and that's quite a strong driving force for the plot. Mina meets her "prince" who Dracula claims to be, and knowing that she shouldn't, spends plenty of time with him and longs for him even after Jonathan's return. Once it is revealed to Mina that this "prince" is in fact Dracula, she is understandably upset but pushes past that feeling and expresses her desire to be with him anyways because of this lust she feels for him.
